Southern Automobiles Ltd. was founded with a vision to revolutionize the automobile industry in Bangladesh. The company was officially registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh on February 1, 2001. Our journey began in April 2000, when the Board of Directors envisioned establishing a CNG Conversion Center and CNG Re-fueling Station. With approval from the Energy and Mineral Resource Division, Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, we commenced our CNG business on November 12, 2001.
Expanding our services, we introduced LPG Conversion in October 2014 and Hybrid Car Repair & Maintenance, including EV services, in 2022. Our primary goal is to build a reputation for excellence by delivering top-tier automobile services across the country. At Southern Automobiles Workshop, we take pride in our team of expert technicians and engineers, who bring years of industry experience and a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, our workshop is capable of handling even the most complex and high-tech automotive challenges.
In addition to our automobile services, Southern Automobiles Ltd. also operates Kamal Trading Agency, a petrol station that offers premium fuel ensuring superior performance and efficiency for all types of vehicles. Furthermore, Southern Renewable Energy Ltd. is a key player in Bangladesh’s renewable energy sector. We have supplied 100,000+ solar home systems nationwide through various programs (IDCOL, TR/KABITA, tenders, and direct sales) and installed 60+ off-grid & on-grid solar projects. Our offerings include solar panels (20W-550W), solar pumps, street lights (25,000+ installed), inverters, LED lighting, and security solutions like CC cameras & access control systems.
